Sasha looked up at the building that the man escorting her called 'Sanctuary' and sneezed violently.
"Bless you," he said, frowning slightly, and Sasha rolled her eyes behind his back.
This was not her year.
Of all the things she could have turned into, all the things she could have been condemned for being...
Sighing, she went through the meet and greet with the other members of 'Sanctuary' and was told where she would live for the rest of... forever. Bitterly, she made her bed and laid down to sleep, priding herself on a day that she didn't spend partially as a...
And she drifted off.
In the morning, she was woken rather forcibly by a chipmunk and a puppy bouncing up and down on her person. She was rather startled, and as such, a moment later a sand-colored cat was sitting in the space she had occupied a moment before.
She gave the dog and chipmunk a scathing cat-glare and stalked off, sneezing as she walked, her tail and legs going rigidly stiff. The chipmunk chittered; the cat looked rather like a cartoon character from the Bugs Bunny when it did that.
As she left the room, her heart rate slowed and she became a human once again. Another sneeze wracked her whole body, and she glared at the next person she saw for the sake of glaring.
"Do you have allergies?" a girl perched in a chair asked her, looking a tad bit concerned at the girl's nearly constant sneezing.
"No," Sasha said grumpily, "I'm allergic to" *sneeze* "pet dander."
